Microbiology

Microbiology division is a full service diagnostic lab provides facility for a full range of human pathogens identification and antibiotic susceptibility including aerobic and anaerobic bacteria by conventional bacterial and blood culture with sensitivity in MIC. Shrey Lab also provides services for AFB culture & sensitivity and Fungus culture & Sensitivity.

Shrey lab supports infection control service, control and prevention of hospital infections under direct supervision of trained microbiologist.

Shrey Pathology & Microbiology Laboratory provides routine as well as specialized hematology testing services. That includes: »   Analysis of Blood Smears for Anemia / Abnormal cells / Parasites »   Bone aspirate and Trephine biopsy (Procedure and diagnosis) with Flowcytometry for Leukemia / Lymphoma/ Metastatic diseases / Anemia of Unknown Origin, »   Identification of Abnormal Hemoglobin and Thalassemia »   Test for Coagulation Disorder, »   Test for Hereditary Spherocytosis / Sickle Cell Disease / Chronic lead poisoning. Our Pathologist will be available for clinical pathological correlation to discuss rare diagnosis or unusual or interesting cases via phone or in person.
