Cytology

Shrey Pathology & Microbiology Laboratory provides comprehensive screening and diagnostic cytology services to hospitals and clinician for malignant and non malignant lesions.

All types of cytology specimens are routinely received and processed, including Gynecological (PAP smears), Non-Gynecological including Body Fluids and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology(FNAC) specimens (Performed by Pathologist at lab / outpatient clinics / Hospitals / Radiology clinic).

That includes: »   Analysis of Blood Smears for Anemia / Abnormal cells / Parasites »   Bone aspirate and Trephine biopsy (Procedure and diagnosis) with Flowcytometry for Leukemia / Lymphoma/ Metastatic diseases / Anemia of Unknown Origin, »   Identification of Abnormal Hemoglobin and Thalassemia »   Test for Coagulation Disorder, »   Test for Hereditary Spherocytosis / Sickle Cell Disease / Chronic lead poisoning. Our Pathologist will be available for clinical pathological correlation to discuss rare diagnosis or unusual or interesting cases via phone or in person.
